Graham: My man, a hundred episodes.

Phil: Let's do this... Good morning, team. Helloee.

Graham: [inaudible 00:00:34]

Team: Hello. Good morning.

Graham: Hey, guys. What's happening?

Phil: Our hundredth episode. Raz...

Graham: [inaudible 00:00:39]

Phil: ...you guys are gonna be killing it. What magic can you bring to the party, my friend?

Raz: I'm thinking you've given 99 episodes of education, hard work, discipline, consistency. Now, let's talk about celebrating success.

Phil: You know, one of the [inaudible 00:00:54] and realize [inaudible 00:00:55] ring, and maybe you sound a little bit different.

Graham: We like to challenge ourself and like to be adventurous. I reckon I've seen it, and I'd like to do it. We're gonna go, you know, skydiving. So...

Phil: Goddamn.

Graham: Like, let's have a [inaudible 00:01:10]. We love to go for a game of golf and absolutely have a laugh and [inaudible 00:01:15] of each other.

Phil: That's right. The other thing I like to do is try to tie back some lessons and learnings that we can get from these experiences, like iFLY and golf, but also tie it back to who we're trying to help, which is the martial arts business owners. So what do you reckon...

Graham: Look, I think you are... Since we have done it, it's always trying new things, always pushing our limits, give it a shot.

Phil: Also I think, like, you know, doing something that is still fearful. We're still gonna be in the air. There's still a risk of falling.

Graham: Oh, yeah.

Phil: Just like in life or in business where there's a risk of falling over and hurting yourself. So, you know, overcoming fear.

Graham: Yep. Definitely.

Phil: What about golf, my friend? Like golf's not everyone's cup of tea, and, you know, we...even you've come a long way with playing golf.

Graham: Man, look, like, I know personally, it's all about obstacles, challenges, and overcoming those ones, I tell you, you know.

Phil: What about you, Raz? What do you think, mate?

Raz: With golf?

Phil: Yeah. Like what have you...

Raz: All right. I play a little bit. I'm not a shark, but I'll probably beat him today. But golf is a game of patience and I get...I think business is as well.

Graham: Yeah. Because I think one thing, too, is...and leading on with what you were saying is when you hit the ball and you rush into it, it will just go nowhere. Or you can hit and hope, which, again, in business, you just can't hit and hope. You gotta be calculated and be focused. You also got to enjoy what you're doing, too, and play the shot where it lies. So...

Hey, you guys, just for you guys, again, viewers, this is gonna be a challenge for you to go back over these 99 other episodes and see the little ticks that me and Phil have. We have certain phrases and words, things that we do on a regular basis. So why don't you call us out on it?

Phil: One of the key things, you know, you gotta learn is if you're a student, you're just gonna let the teacher do its thing, you know. But come and get it.

Graham: Oh my God. [inaudible 00:02:58]

[00:02:58][Silence][00:03:19]

Phil: Relax. Chill.

[00:03:21][Silence][00:03:54]

Phil: Oh, well, guys, we just did our humongous iFLY here, and well, [inaudible 00:03:59], it was incredible. Graham, what did you get out of it?

Graham: Man, look, I know that probably the best thing I learned from this is go with the flow. Seriously, you know, you resist against it, you'll be like Raz, like, you know, you see him all shaky and whatnot. But seriously, guys, if you just chill, relax, take your time, and go with the flow, you'll absolutely kill it. And if you reference that back to what we were talking about—business—if you resist and you kind of stress about things, sometimes you're gonna cause yourself even more worse than if you just chill, take a breath, and just deal with what's in front of you.

Phil: The king of the chamber, this guy here, man. He jumped in, spinning around... It just was awesome. And that was my takeaway is, like, you can learn from the people before you. So if people are already doing what you wanna do, like fly really well, grow a business well, get amazing students in, you know, you can fast-forward your success and your results by following the people in front of you. And that's what I did along with Graham. He was doing all these little tweaky things, and I hope that that got me up in the air a little bit better as well.

But Raz, what about you, mate?

Raz: Well, obviously when we talk about ranking, Graham definitely smashed it. I came second. Phil [inaudible 00:05:00] last. But if you ever come down here, you'll learn about this. This means "chill out," and it's gonna be all good. Take that into your business, and we're good.

Phil: And thanks to the guys in iFLY for an incredible flight in here. It was fantastic.

Graham: Definitely, guys.

Phil: You guys are great.

Graham: Can't recommend it enough, guys. Get down here. Let's go...

Raz: Oh, you fucking...

[00:05:27][Silence][00:05:52]

Graham: All right. Look at the magic just about to happen. So far today, I've just been absolutely killing it. The boys, they're screaming. They're trying to catch up, so here we go...

Phil: Hey, guys. Hope you've enjoyed hanging out with us on this hundredth episode of our TIMA podcasts. Look, it's been a blast. We've done iFLY. We've played golf. And something I took away from playing golf today was, you know, you can't take your crap into the next hole. And the same thing goes with work and life as well. It's that we all suffer crap. We all fall over. We all fail. We all have troubles and issues, whether it be marketing or sales, or, you know, anything. But you can't take it into the next hole and you can't take it into your next day of work...

Fuck... Fuck.

You gotta start again. You gotta scrape it back and, you know, learn from your lessons, and see if you can, you know, make those little adjustments so that you can fail less, or fail, you know...or I guess correct yourself for the next hole, or the next day, or the next year. So that's what I got out of today's golf class.

Graham: For sure. Look, guys, for you guys watching here, you may be thinking, "God, you guys are lucky. You get to do this. You get to do that, you know. What a day at work." But the harder we work, the luckier we get. And I guess we have a lot of resource that we share with people, but if you don't implement it, you don't actually take action, you're still gonna be in the same place next year, and the year after, and the year after.

So with everything we've got going on with the events coming up in November that we're putting on, with the material that we have online, and also all the content that we give you guys for nothing, as in all the free content, if you guys don't actually apply it and actually do something with it, it's just simply out there and it's really not meaning a lot.

So guys, I would urge you to do what we do. We work hard. We get things. We try things. We test things. We fail. We pick ourselves back up. We go again. And really that's what it's all about. I guess that's what golf is about, you know. You got a hole where you do wonderful, and then you do the next one where not so much. So hey, that's all part of it. Take the lessons and keep on moving.

Phil: Yeah. It's like if you wanna get good at golf, you've gotta golf regularly. If you wanna get good at martial arts, you know that you have to train in martial arts. So wherever your failure points are in your business, if it's sales, if it's marketing, if it's student retention, you gotta focus on it. Because what you focus on is what you get.

So guys, my shout-out to you, my punch in the face, the slap on the cheek, is to start focusing on the areas that you need to improve on in your business and just put your attention there. Please do it, guys.

Graham: Yeah, for sure. Guys, look, it's been an absolute blast. I can't wait to share with you the next hundred episodes and more. And we look forward to seeing you guys at our live event coming up very, very shortly...
