TIMA Road Map #4: How to Retain Your Students?

There have been particular steps within the process, the magic metrics that we like to follow and hold ourselves accountable to. It's these areas in your business that if they are always check, your check points, then I guarantee you a success with your business. In this particular video, we are going to be talking about retention. I do not know about you, but in our business there are certain drop zones that we know about. If you're checking statistics correctly and regularly, then you're going to know these areas are quite common areas. I don't know what the industries standard is these days but I've heard it was around 11 months, that the average student will stick with you. Well, we have drop zones at about six-month mark yeah probably around the 12-month mark and then later on about a year and a half and sort of brown belt level as well. Now, if we know that students are dropping off at these areas, we're going to find out what the issue is? Is it that the classes get too hard? Is it that the class instructor isn't as motivating as the last one? Look, every school and every business they're going to be a little bit different, but something that I'd urge you to do is starting working how you could pre-empt the curve. If you know that there's a drop zone at six-month mark, what can you be telling that student or that parent or that child, what can you tell them that's going to help them through that tough time. Is it that we understand that classes get tougher, that the techniques are harder to learn, is it that it's going to get more physical or you know what? It's no different than anyone else, we will help you and guide you and parents did you know that when you push your children through passed through this sort of drop zone, in martial arts, they're going to break through that glass ceiling. That feeling you know that they can achieve and when they do that well they are experiencing martial arts is going to be amazing. So my strategy for you guys with retention, is to pre-empt the curve. Find out what you can say to them, can tell them, or show them before they actually fall off the Richter Scale. I hope this video has been fantastic for you guys, we have one last video, which is going to be amazing which is about over-the-counter sales and up growth. Can't wait to share it with you guys. Stay with it and I'll see you on the other side. Ciao.
